REGISTRATION POLICIES - DEFERRALS, RACE CHANGES, INSURANCE

Most large corporate races do not allow refunds, with good reason. When you register for a race, the organizers incur costs ahead of time by purchasing your medals, shirts, swag bags, nutrition, and other race day supplies. If you elect not to race, those goods go to waste. First Knight Racing also does not offer refunds for its races. We do offer some limited options for athletes suffering from injury, illness, or other hardships. Our policies are strictly enforced and are explained at the links below. We also highly recommend race insurance, explained below.

RACE INSURANCE OPTION

Before you register, you may want to consider purchasing race insurance through RegShield. The registration protection option allows the race participants to be reimbursed up to 100% if they cannot attend the event for a number of reasons, including covered injury, illness, traffic accidents, or if required to work for a covered reason. This option is only available when registering and cannot be purchased after that. A separate email is sent from RegShield with policy information and requesting payment for the insurance.
