packet pickup / bike racking

PACKET PICKUP, BIKE RACKING, ATHLETE'S MEETING, Splash and Dash - AUG. 16

Saturday August 16 - Indian Pines Park

Packet pickup for Peasantman takes place the day before the event at the race site at Indian Pines Park. This is when you'd pick up your race packet, rack your bike, and attend the athlete's meeting.

  • 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm - packet pickup and bike racking.
  • 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - swim clinic with Ryan Lawrence
  • 2:30 pm - Kids' Splash and Dash (2pm check in - see details below)
  • 4:30 pm - Athlete's Meeting
  • 5:30 pm - Packet pickup ends

Race registration during packet pickup IS allowed, but ONLY in person, as electronic registration will be closed by then.

*Packet pickup and bike racking on race morning is discouraged and is at your own risk. If you must do this, be sure to arrive extremely early. The more people who do this on race morning, the less chance you'll be on time, and Peasantman is not responsible for ensuring this. You'll also be missing any possible last minute changes covered at the race meeting the day before. Late packet pickup on race morning closes promptly at 6:45am and absolutely cannot be extended or it will delay the race start.

Indian Pines Park Address : 69 Old Pines Trail, Penn Yan, NY 14527

Important Packet Pickup Day Info:

  • All athletes must show valid ID at packet pickup. No ID = no race - no exceptions.
  • You CANNOT pick up any race packet other than your own.
  • All relay members must be present simultaneously to pick up race packets.
  • Athletes must be USAT members or pay for a One Day License (varies by race up to $23).
  • Minors must have a parent or legal guardian present at packet pickup.
  • Timing chips will be given out at packet pickup and MUST be worn for the whole race.
  • Race registration during packet pickup is allowed, but ONLY in person.

Athlete's Meeting

We can't stress enough how important the Athlete's Meeting is. Race founder Joe McMahon will explain all of the course details and answer any questions you may have. Last minute course changes are always possible due to weather, construction, or safety issues. It is the athlete's responsibility to know the course, so this is your chance to find out every last detail.

Swim Clinic

First Knight Racing Team member and 2025 Keuka Lake Tri intermediate distance champion Ryan Lawrence will host a swim clinic during Peasantman packet pickup on Saturday, August 16th from 1:00-2:00 pm. If you're new to triathlon or if you would like to improve your swim with some tips from a fast swimmer, come check it out at the shoreline at the race site.

Kids' Splash and Dash

As hosts of the 2025 USA Triathlon Ultra Distance National Championship, we are hosting a Kids' Splash and Dash race on Saturday during packet pickup. The race starts at 2:30 pm and consists of a 100-meter swim and a 1-km run, open to all kids between the ages of 7-15. Competitors must arrive for packet pickup by 2:00 pm. Race fee is $30, and you can register here from the Peasantman registration page. Finishers will receive medals, and can present them for a free small cone at Seneca Farms.

OUR RACE WEEKEND BREWS

How many triathlons can say they have their own beer? Seriously how many? We don't know. Are there any others? Because Peasantman does! Our friends at LyonSmith Brewing Company have been brewing Peasantman Royal Bloodline Porter and E.S.B. for over a decade. Give their brewery a visit when you're in town, or come see them at Indian Pines Park during Peasantman weekend.
